CFA® Program

What is the CFA® Program?

The CFA® Program is a globally recognized graduate-level program for finance and investment professionals, administered and awarded by the US-based CFA Institute. The program focuses on the global investment management profession from the standpoint of a practitioner. It provides a strong foundation of real-world investment analysis and portfolio management skills along with the practical knowledge you need in today’s investment industry. In 2015, there are 130,604 investment professionals in 150 countries that are CFA® charterholders.

Why Should I do CFA® Program at Noesis?
Noesis is the only tuition provider that follows CFA Institute Prep Provider Guidelines in Malaysia, offering tuition to Level I, II and III CFA® Program candidates. We have a team of qualified and experience instructors. They are mainly CFA® charterholders who are able to provide a thorough understanding of the financial markets and bring real-life examples to class. Adhering to the CFA® Program Prep Provider Guidelines, we produce effective, high-quality supplementary materials that are aligned with the current official curriculum and exam formats.

At Noesis, we understand the need to provide flexibility for our students in their study schedules. In order to allow our students to balance their work and study commitments, we offer flexibility for students to extend to future exams at no additional cost.

Each level consists of approximately 150 hours of study, including an intensive revision course, progress test and mock exam. We also allow free repeats for students within bands 7-10. And we reward students achieving marks above 70% in all subjects with scholarships.

Noesis recognizes that as working adults, networking through the sharing of experience in class is an important tool of learning; therefore class numbers are kept small. In addition, this allows personal and professional attention to be directed to each individual. In 2015, Noesis has approximately 100 level 1, 30 level 2, and 29 level 3 students to network with.

This conducive environment further enables our CFA® students to explore various career paths and opportunities. With the facilities of our Dream Career Workshop, career overviews and job placement, our CFA® graduates achieve on average a 30% increase in salary and 100% success in key investment positions upon completion of their course with Noesis. Key positions successfully placed from our workshop includes research analyst at Deutsche Bank and buy side analyst at Public Mutual Berhad.

Because each exam question is based explicitly on the curriculum, you need to show mastery of the most current curriculum content in your study program.

The curriculum for each of the three levels is organized into 18 study sessions. Each study session contains assigned readings, learning outcome statements (LOS), and problem sets (to demonstrate the practical application of your knowledge).
